Key ingredients:

Vitamin C (60 mg per tablet):
Also known as ascorbic acid, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin and blood vessels. Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and increases iron absorption.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine, 10 mg per tablet):
Helps the production of haemoglobin, the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body to deliver nutrients to the scalp and hair follicles. Also aids psychological and nervous system function.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, 20 micrograms per tablet):
Helps to maintain the normal hair cycle and protects against Vitamin D deficiency, a common condition believed to be a cause of hair loss. Also plays a role in the process of cell division and contributes to a healthy immune system.

Folic Acid (folate, 400 micrograms):
Plays a role in the process of cell division, immune system function and normal blood formation for the delivery of nutrients to the hair and scalp. Folate deficiency can cause changes to the hair, skin, and nails.

Biotin (200 micrograms):
Contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and may improve hair quality and texture. Helps maintain the normal functioning of the nervous system, an energy-yielding metabolism and normal skin. May protect against brittle nails.

Iodine (100 micrograms):
Maintains the normal production of thyroid hormones and thyroid function which, if compromised, may interrupt the hair cycle and cause dry, brittle thinning hair. Also maintains normal skin.

Iron (10 mg):
Aids normal blood and haemoglobin formation for the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to the hair and scalp. May also protect against premature greying. Iron deficiency is a common nutritional deficiency associated with hair loss.

Copper (500 micrograms):
Triggers the release of iron to form haemoglobin. Also contributes to normal hair pigmentation and nervous system function.

Zinc (10 mg):
Protects the cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, skin and nails, protecting against hair loss, brittle hair and dermatitis. Also contributes to normal protein synthesis and immune system function.

Selenium (50 micrograms):
Contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and immune system function. Also protects the cells from oxidative stress.

Saw Palmetto extract (300mg):
A botanical extract with antiandrogenic properties which means it can help to reduce androgens and specifically dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is the hormone responsible for male pattern hair loss.  Some studies have shown increased hair quality, count and density when it is taken in supplemental form.

Silica (12mg):
Helps to form collagen which protects against brittle hair and nails as well as skin texture and wrinkling. Can also support the immune response and help to control inflammation in the body.

L-Methionine (100mg):
A sulfur-containing essential amino acid involved in the formation of cysteine – a building block of the keratin protein that makes our skin, nails and hair.

L-Cysteine (50mg):
A conditionally essential amino acid that provides strength and rigidity to keratin, one of the most abundant proteins in the hair.

Methylsulphonyl Methane (150mg):
A sulphur-rich compound with anti-inflammatory properties. May assist hair growth and retention.

Grape Seed Extract (8mg):
Rich in antioxidants which may help in the treatment of high cholesterol, poor circulation and nerve damage.

Gingko Biloba extract (60mg):
High in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which can help to increase blood flow and help hair growth by providing more nutrients to the hair follicles.

Millet extract (10mg):
Gluten free and rich in protein and fibre. Contains antioxidants and proteins that may help during the hair cycle, and also magnesium which is understood to help reduce inflammation which, if local to the hair follicle, could cause hair loss.
